A vintage Mid-Century Neon Arrow sign has seen better days as the broken up neon throws shadows across the peeling paint of the lettering.
This work has been in several shows and was chosen as a Finalist in Artist's Network 'AcrylicWorks 10' publication. (the original painting ships in a crate)

I love creating urban landscapes with mid-century signage, cityscapes, botanical subjects, landscapes, figuratives and occasionally abstract work. Mediums include drawing media charcoal, pencil, and conte, traditional transparent watercolor on paper, acrylic on canvas, and mixed media & paper collage. I received my MFA in watercolor painting from Eastern Michigan University. I have a number of awards for my paintings, most recently, the 76th Michigan Water Color Society Exhibition MWCS Members Award, and also am selected as a Finalist to published in Artist Magazine's September special issue "AcrylicWorks 10: The Best of Acrylic" art competition.
