I had to do a doubletake to be sure that this was a watercolor~ I agree, the old neon signs are to be cherished as relics of past over the top artistry. Amazing painting!

Thanks Anne for your kind words. This one was all transparent watercolor, but used lots of layers of cobalt blue and red to get the vivid colors that were actually part of the scene.
